147.737 Repeater is ON the air

Today, April 13th, Trevor, WA6JAU went back to Kregor Peak to continue troubleshooting. He was able to get the receiver working again. While he did touch a couple of receiver tune-up parameters he’s not certain that this is the end of our problems. We will continue to monitor the receiver performance and see if we have any further problems.

AS OF APRIL 11TH-Earlier this week the 147.735 MHz repeater on Kregor Peak had a receiver failure. On Friday, April 10th Trevor, WA6JAU went to the repeater and tried to revive the repeater. His efforts collected a lot of data but the receiver still doesn’t work. Trevor pulled the receiver and will try a few other tests over the next few days.

At this time please use the Bald Peak repeater located in Orinda on 145.49 MHz (-600 KHz) or Highland Peak repeater located in San Ramon on 145.41 MHz (-600 KHz).

We will keep you advised as we learn more.
